Title: Draeseke Requiem in B minor
Post by: Balapoel on Tuesday 30 April 2013, 06:38
For those that haven't heard it, IMSLP has a version of Draeseke's b minor requiem. Quite amazing, from the first notes, it grabs you by the throat... Great stuff, romantic, passionate, sorrowful.

This work was recorded on an Lp right at the beginning of the CD era.  I can't get at the lp at the moment.  So this might be that performance.

I know of the LP. If the section divisions are the same and the timings are listed somewhere, it should be possible to compare that at least...
