I gather the Capriccio is actually on WS Bennett's "May Queen", not on Queen May (and estimated pub.ca.1859). (Worldcat (http://www.worldcat.org/title/capriccio-for-the-pianoforte-on-ws-bennetts-may-queen-etc/oclc/498738977).) :)
Thanks, duly corrected.
Hello,
Any idea where would be the score 'Piano Concerto in A major 'The Jubilee' 1876' located at?
Is it in RPS archives?
Only Piano Concertino 'Consuelo' is found in British Library recent catalogue (after cyber-attack, cannot search for manuscript)
Oh, gosh. Unsung indeed!
The Jubliee is apparently available at the British Library, but only for viewing and only if you go there in person with a valid library card. Anyone in the London area (or Yorkshire? Not sure if it's at both locations.) willing to help out with this? I recently received a request for this piece on my channel.
I am a reader at BL but I don't know when I will be going there next. It won't be in Yorkshire - it will be in London. One could probably get it copied, but at considerable expense - the BL is not cheap (it used to be reasonable, but not any more!). I will inquire when next I am there.

Correction:
I think this will be concertino 'consuelo', piano concerto 'Jubilee' is not found

They stopped providing copying services after the cyber-attack event, which has been 2 years since. So only way is to snapshot the score at their reading rooms.
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood you, I thought you'd found the Consuelo somewhere else and the Jubilee was in the BL. Alright. I know nothing about the composer myself, other than someone requested him. But that's true of nearly all the composers I've covered, kind of the whole point of the channel is publicizing stuff nobody's ever heard of, including myself.
