Title: Bargiel Trois danses allemandes - help needed!
Post by: Alan Howe on Sunday 04 May 2014, 13:27
Can anyone help me to find the score and parts of Bargiel's Trois danses allemandes? If so, I'd be very grateful...

Worldcat claims that the University of Edinburgh main library has the parts (closed access though), and that U. of Michigan, Zürich Library, and British Library @ St. Pancras have the score, and Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin has a manuscript (http://opac.rism.info/search?id=452002978&db=251&View=rism) (and unfortunately incomplete manuscript parts (http://opac.rism.info/search?id=452002979&db=251&View=rism)) (of the orchestral version- well, I'm sure in the case of the ms, not quite as sure with the others...- other libraries are listed as having the reduced version of this Op.24 so worth double-checking what's what)-

as to purchasing or renting, not sure, will see if I can find someone who's selling the score, or something...
