This coming week there is a feast of music by 'unsungs' and rare music by 'sungs' including Rubinstein's Quintet, Elgar's Carillon and Le drapeau Belge, Howells Piano Concerto No.1, Moeran's Symphony, Dennis Browne's Two Dances for orchestra, and other works by him, Songs by Kelly, Stephan music for orchestra, Braunfels Te Deum, Dale's Prunella, Weust's Alexandra Palace Ragtime Waltz, Woestijne's Symphony, Morfydd Owen's Morfa Rhuddian and Jongen's Harp Concerto.
Any special reason for this splendid programming, Giles?
WW1, Radio 3 are majoring on composers and music relating to that period.
