Title: La Neige

Has anyone here ever attended a performance or come across a recording of Auber's La Neige? I absolutely love the overture... Rossinieties, and all.

I have a recording, albeit in German. It's from the Oldenburg State Theatre, dated 1986.
Because the opera is set in Lothringen (Lorraine) in the early 19th century, I find the language doesn't detract too much. It's in four acts and lasts 108 minutes. Like most of Auber's music this offering is highly enjoyable and I find the sound quality to be acceptable despite its age.

Thank you! I'm glad to know that there's a recording of the complete work out there to be found.
