Title: Waghalter: String Quartet Op.3
Post by: mikehopf on Saturday 29 June 2019, 05:06
Just out on the EDA label: Poland Abroad. String Quartets by Waghalter, Strasfogel & Rathaus.

The Waghalter quartet is sublime... not surprising with teachers like Gernsheim, Joachim and P. Scharwenka.

When is the New World Suite to be broadcast... according to David Green it was to be performed in May.

Whoops! The New World Suite was released on Naxos last year.

The String Quartet has been recorded before, of course:
