Just a quick word of warning here - the short review on the JPC site erroneously refers to Norbert, NOT Friedrich Burgmüller, who is a completely different kettle of fish! Friedrich's piano music can be acceptable enough to some - in an innocent sort of way, but certainly falls a long way short of his short-lived brother who without doubt could have been a second Mozart, as the JPC review suggests!

Apologies for the confusion here - for which I was responsible. I've clarified the thread title.

Oh wow, talk about something I never thought I would have -- #2 (Arabesque) and #15 (Ballade) were in multiple pedagogical piano books when I was young (and I do have recordings of them on this disc that replicates one of those books I found on Ebay many years ago). Easy but great little pieces. Will almost certainly be picking this up.
