The Symphonova Orchestra was discussed in this thread (http://www.unsungcomposers.com/forum/index.php/topic,7097.msg75460.html#msg75460) two years ago, and I see there is a recording of Canadian Orchestral Music that includes the Macbeth Overture op. 39 by Clarence Lucas (1866-1947). When I listened to the Macbeth Overture on YT it was immediately followed by RVW's Dives and Lazarus - it was like having a heavy weight taken off my shoulders. From the pedestrian to the sublime gorgeousness of a genius.
Agreed. Some unsung music should remain that way.
