Katherine Mary Adela Maddison. Born 15.12.1862 - Died 12.6.1929 Ealing, London
A daughter of vice-admiral Louis Tindal from an Irish family. She married a barrister and now perhaps best described as socialites, they travelled extensively around Europe. Adela at one time taking lessons with Debussy. During the 1890's, she and Gabriel Faure became lovers, though she later returned to her husband. For a period up till 1914 she lived in Berlin. There was also a period when she was involved in Rutland Boughton's Glastonbury Festivals.
