Henri Benjamin Rabaud Born 10.11.1873 Paris Died 11.9.1949 Neuilly, Paris.
Henri was the son of Hippolyte Rabaud, a cellist and minor composer. His initial studies were at the Lycee Condorcet. He followed this, studying at the Paris Conservatoire with Antoine Taudou, Jules Massenet and Andre Gedalge. He was dissatisfied with Massenet's teaching. He won the Prix de Rome in 1894. Henri was an admirer of Mascagni, Puccini and Verdi. Modernism is the enemy was his mantra.
He was a frequent conductor at the opera.

Good to remind us, giles.enders :-)
Since 2011 there are quite a few threads or mentionings of Henri Rabaud in here :-)
His two scores for silent films have been recorded in connection with video restaurations for DVDs and his opera "Marouf" is still available on CD re-issues.
His 2nd Symphony and "Procession nocturne" are available on the Timpani label and other orchestral pieces have been recorded by Pierre Dervaux for EMI in 1979 and by Leif Segerstam for Naxos-Marco Polo in 2002. His "Solo de Concours" (Contest Piece) for clarinet and piano has also been recorded by EMI in the 1970s...
"Marouf" is well worth getting to know. The recording to get is definitely the one conducted by Jesus Etcheverry although the dance sequence, one of the score's highlights, is shortened.
What Differentiates The Best Baby Monitors And The Worst Baby Monitors?
After deciding that you will have the Best Baby Monitors (http://"http://"https://velog.io/@allensullivan/a-complete-guide-on-choosing-the-best-baby-monitors"") in your home, the next step is to do research to make the right purchase decision. We bet that you do not want to spend money on a baby monitor that breaks after several weeks of use; therefore, it is worth spending just a couple of minutes to go through this post.
We have not only spent hours searching and reading baby monitor reviews but also doing some experiments in the lab to check more than 20 baby monitors' functions. It turns out to be that the significant differences between best and worst baby monitors are signal and battery.
1. Signal range
The range of a baby monitor shows you how far the parent unit can receive a signal. Some manufacturers claim that users can still get an accurate signal up to 500 meters away; however, you should also check if this distance includes outside space. Actually, it does not matter how far the distance is if you can not receive any signal outside, especially when you are in the garden and your baby is sleeping indoors. During our tests, we found out that top baby monitors can give a signal when you are 80 meters away from your baby while poor baby monitors only allow for around 20 meters.
Generally, digital monitors are better than analogue-signal monitors as they are less likely to suffer from the accidental broadcast. However, whether your baby monitor can deliver a good signal can only be exactly known when you already installed it in your home. Sometimes, it is not the problem of the monitor itself but rather your house. Houses with thicker walls do affect negatively on video quality.

2. Battery
If you are considering buying a rechargeable baby monitor, you will need to pay special attention to the battery life, which is critical for this type of device. Normally, Best rated baby monitors (http://"http://"https://www.docdroid.net/qI5uiPf/the-best-baby-monitor-of-2020-for-new-parents-pdf"") can run up to 24 hours with sleep mode and 12 hours with active mode while poor monitors can not even last for an evening. Similar to the signal range, the battery life can only be known when you use it; therefore, before making your purchase decision, remember to check the product's return policy.
In case you use a corded monitor, it is worth spending time to read safety instructions. It is reported that at least 7 children have died because of being strangled by monitor cords in the US, so pay attention to locate the monitor at least 3 feet away from the crib to avoid serious injury.

The Top Baby Monitors (http://"http://"https://gab.com/bestratedbabymonitors"") deliver clear sound and premium image quality to let you take care of your child. However, keep in mind that the monitor can not do everything and can not replace parents' supervision. In other words, baby monitors should be considered as extra help to keep parents updated on the baby's situation and get alert when something abnormal happens. It does not matter how good a monitor is, your baby always needs your proper care and attention to grow healthy both physically and mentally.
His 2nd symphony on Timpani is gorgeous! Haven't hear it in a while but I remember it as somewhat darkish, bright sunny scherzo but overall dramatic, a deep romantic work.
