A concert by the "Swiss Orchestra" entitled "Unerhört! Schweizer Romantik" was recorded live in Andermatt, in Switzerland's highest-altitude concert hall (1400 metres above sea level), and can be listened to on Swiss Radio (https://www.srf.ch/audio/im-konzertsaal/pavillon-suisse-im-zentrum-der-schweiz?id=12584522) for the next four weeks in a programme hosted in the three Swiss languages German, Italian and French:
August Walter: Konzertouvertüre D-Dur op. 16
Marguerite Roesgen-Champion: Concertino für Cembalo und Orchester Nr. 1
Johannes Brahms: Sinfonie Nr. 2 D-Dur op. 73
The recording of August Walter's Concert Overture is now available in our Downloads Board here (https://www.unsungcomposers.com/forum/index.php/topic,9462.0.html).
Mark,
Many tks for the Walter upload - I was trying (without too much success) to sort out a recording from this broadcast for myself. IIRC, his symphony was most enjoyable so let's hope this is more of them same
