Bru Zane have just announced a performance of Mazeppa, drame lyrique in five acts and six tableaux by Clémence de Grandval, at the Prinzregententheater in Munich, on 19 January 2025, which is to be recorded (https://bru-zane.com/en/evento/mazeppa/) for their 'French Opera' series.

Fun fact: Ivan Mazeppa is still anathematized by the Russian Orthodox Church.  Not Stalin, Ivan the Terrible, or any other mass murderers.  But Mazeppa, who decided not to fight with Peter the Great... Some might think the ROC could join the 21st century  ;D
