I don't think anyone's mentioned her music here in 11 years, but a cpo CD of her chamber works, with her cello sonata Op.11, violin sonata Op.14 and piano trio Op.11 (ok..) is expected out in May (https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/products/9772472--helene-liebmann-violin-sonata-cello-sonata-piano-trio) of this year.
I think those Op. numbers may be a little confused, Eric. I have the Grand Trio as Op.11 and the Cello Sonata as Op.10.
Apologies for not double-checking!
Liebmann was born in 1795 and was a piano child prodigy. Online information on her is scarce (her death is variously given as 1835 and 1869) and there's no entry in Grove, but she may have stopped actively composing after 1819 and all three works on this recording are from the second decade of the 1800s. Judging by the sound bites at Presto her style reflects the musical times - late classical /early romantic, with a distinct leaning towards the former.
Yes, that's about right; too early for my taste, but perfectly acceptable for this forum.
