Unless I overlooked something, a new German production of "Die toten Augen" has escaped our notice here. The Theater Altenburg-Gera staged this rarity successfully back in spring, and new performances are scheduled for November and December according to their website (https://theater-altenburg-gera.de/stuecke-konzerte/die-toten-augen-1836/).
This is a powerful work. I am glad to see it is getting a staged performance.
And there's a very good recording on cpo, still available from Amazon UK, which can be heard on YouTube:

Yes. I saw that. It's one of my favourite operas, sung or unsung. I got in touch with them to ask if there was a recording planned...even a video...but they said no.
The CPO recording is very good, though, as is the old one conducted, a little more tightly, by Walter Born.
After the successful and award winning ( "best rediscovery" ) performances of this addictive opera in Altenburg-Gera, another production is scheduled in Ostrava for the middle of June next year. It will be at the National Moravian-Silesian theatre from June 17th to the 26th. I might be able to get there.
