QuoteDo we have a single post with links to the Leipzig Gewandhaus, Vienna Symphony, Vienna Philharmonic, NYPO (and Boston Symphony too, I think), etc. concert information archive websites to which this could be added? That's potentially fairly useful.
I think this is an excellent question. Here are three more, to add to the list as a start (I have included the
Musikverein Archive mentioned in the original post):
Musikverein Vienna (https://www.musikverein.at/en/archiv/concert-archive/)
Vienna Philharmonic (https://www.wienerphilharmoniker.at/en/konzert-archiv)
Konzerthaus Vienna (https://konzerthaus.at/database-search)
Concertgebouw Orchestra (https://archief.concertgebouworkest.nl/en/archive/search/)
This database (http://db.zti.hu/koncert/koncert_Kereses.asp), currently available in Hungarian only, lists concerts held in Budapest from 1900 to the present day.
Thanks!!
The Musikverein Vienna page has moved here (https://musikverein.at/en/archiv/konzertarchiv/). The Konzerthaus Vienna page, here (https://konzerthaus.at/de/archiv-suche).
Thanks for the updates! Interesting wording at the Musikverein:
QuoteFind what has bygone
–
at least it's not
Begone or
Let bygones be bygones ;D
Is that their translation? :)
I should link the earlier post if it isn't already.. .here (https://www.unsungcomposers.com/forum/index.php/topic,7865.msg82372.html#msg82372)- with the note that the Vienna Symphony site is temporarily down.
