Ernst Stahl was a German composer, cantor and conductor. He appears to have written at least five symphonies. The (German only) wikipedia article on him has an entry under works that says "symphonies, no. 5 (E-major). The score is in the German National Library, and the entry in their catalogue says that the symphony is in four movements and was (first) performed in an extra concert by the Dresden Gewerbehaus-Kapelle on 5 April 1887.
Here (https://youtu.be/184zLUh-XS4?feature=shared) is his Romance for violin and piano op. 60 (or is that 69? - the titles at the very beginning are hard to read), performed by Svetly Zenevich, violin, and Irina Gladilina, piano.
Dates: 1846-1924
The Romance is his Op.69, pub. 1900:

Suggestion: use https://d-nb.info/gnd/1181358787 (https://d-nb.info/gnd/1181358787) (a miscalled "permanent" link- accurate as a relative term, though) rather than a link that has things like opac.htm and simpleSearch, which will probably expire sooner than later :)
