A 1937 recording of Otto Dobrindt and the Light Music Orchestra of the Deutschlandsender playing Hugo Kaun's opus 21, the suite for large orchestra in four movements "Ein Karnevalsfest", is available from "Mon Musée Musical" (http://www.rene-gagnaux.ch/dobrindt_otto/kaun_ein_karnevalsfest.html). Due to a problem with the server the download link given is currently not working, but the download is available from another server (http://www.rene-gagnaux-1.ch/_downloads/Kaun_Op21_UODSBerlin_Dobrindt_07_1937.zip).
This is a potentially interesting site. However its search function does not work well. So, to search the content on this sight, one could use a search engine and type in "site:rene-gagnaux.ch [Keyword]" (such as "site:rene-gagnaux.ch Kaun")
Thanks, Ilja, for cleaning up this recording and putting a link to it in our Downloads Board here (https://www.unsungcomposers.com/forum/index.php/topic,9934.msg101689.html#new).
