I haven't found any entry on this forum regarding Carolina Uccelli. Her opera Anna di Resburgo was among the very few works composed by a woman who managed to be staged in Italy during the 19th century.
This Bel Canto opera, premiered in Naples in 1835, just a month after Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, was revived during summer 2024 by the American ensemble Teatro Nuovo, with great reviews. Did anyone managed to catch one of these performances?
For those who want to learn more and hear a few excerpts, Will Crutchfield, from Teatro Nuovo, did a great work to introduce Uccelli's opera on YouTube:

Sounds great to me - and is evidently superbly performed here. Thanks!
