The opera fragment is based upon the famous Schiller ballad "Dionys, Tyrann von Syrakus" and has nothing to do with the Greek Dionysos. But the overture was written seven years before the fragment and was only for the first print connected with the now lost fragment.
The recording of the piano concerto is fabulous and an absolute must buy. And the CD contains the first real recording of the Entr'actes as a premiere (after an old and bad broadcast from the 1980ies).
This just to correct some errors about these things...

Many thanks for the hint to this book. It may be remarked, this is not a biographical, but a thematic-bibliographical catalogue. It contains 32 pages of colour illustrations, which may make the price understandable. Meanwhile there are a few more reviews published, which do not appear on the site of the publisher Dohr, who does not move any hand to promote the book. But why should he? The book was completely financed by the author...
