I played the first seven sound bites on the jpc page thinking "wow, Plantade does sound like Cherubini", only to realise that the first seven tracks are a Requiem by Cherubini, which I hadn't come across before (to Louis XVI)! Plantade's piece itself sounds rather more classical than early romantic, but the Cherubini influence is clearly there, as Alan says.
