I do, and fortunately have heard the Desto LP (iirc) of his viola concerto and 2nd the recommendation.
Considering interloaning a Bowen violin sonata sc&pt or somesuch to upload to IMSLP, by the way. Anyhow, as you said, back to the latter's viola concerto.

Thanks, but I dont say that about Porter in order to toot my own horn. Porter's is a highly original vocabulary, one that is recognizable and consistent throughout his catalog.

I thought it was a clever idea of Bowen's to accompany the viola with a harp in its solo passages, but I had to strain my ears to hear that instrument. By the way, the soloist, a pupil of the Yehudi Menuhin School, was using Yehudi Menuhin's own instrument.

Porter's Viola Concerto has been uploaded to YouTube.

Bowen's Violin Sonata No.2 is excellent! I've performed it a few times, and it is always a hit with the audience.
