While working my way through a re-hearing of the Scharwenka brothers, I chanced upon the next thing alphabetically on the record shelf, which was a 1995 EMI recording of soprano Dagmar Schellenberger, accompanied by the Munich Radio Orchestra under Ralf Weikert, performing eleven opera arias by various composers.

What struck me is that of the eleven, more than half were unsung: Karl Goldmark, Ambroise Thomas, Louis Spohr, Erich Korngold, Heinrich Marschner, and Eugen d'Albert. These names on a disk from CPO or Capriccio would not be a surprise, and Schellenberger has a solid track record with unsung repertory, but coming from EMI thirty years ago it's surprising indeed.

I can't see if we ever discussed this disc on the boards, but I can solidly recommend it. It's very well performed by all involved, and the engineering is commendably realistic -- Schellenberger is part of the ensemble and not plopped in your lap.

Anyway, I think it's worth tracking down.

"Worth tracking down" but unfindable.
The only excerpt from that CD I was able to find  on YT is the Korngold aria (Ich ging zu ihn).
Very frustrating indeed not to be able to hear the remaining tracks...

I just found two copies on eBay and 14 copies on Amazon. Where are you looking?

I tried to send these to you by DM, though I was getting some weird results from the website.
