Wow! We now have Vakula the Smith and the 1870 version of Romeo and Juliet. Another huge thanks to britishcomposer. Keep up the fantastic work!!

(I LOVE Patricia Routledge's spoken synopses for Vakula, I am glad you included them in the downloads. They are very enjoyable in their own right!)

Now, there were a lot of 'firsts' included in the Tchaikovsky Experience, do you have any of these as well?

Symphony no.1 (original version)
orchestration of the Austrian National Anthem (1874)
Gaudeamus Igitur, arranged in Russian for chorus and piano
Salon de Polka (both vocal and solo piano versions)
The Siskin
It is not the wind that bends the branch
Moment lyrique (original version!)
The underdog
Waltz in F# minor (original version of Op.40 no.9)
Spring, for women's chorus
Additional aria for The Oprichnik
Was I not a little blade of grass, Op.47 no.7 (orchestrated version)
Dawn, duet, Op.46 no.6 (orchestrated version)
...and even though it's not a 'first', the Anastasie-Valse of 1854.

Thanks and thanks again!!!

I'd love to hear these in actual stereo but alas...

I recorded with audacity but didn't know then how to record in stereo.(!) Sorry for that.

I didn't know there was an original version of this symphony.
Thanks for the upload!

britishcomposer, I finally found out the correct name for the soprano in Was I Not a Little Blade of Grass, Op.47 no.7.
It is Eleanor Meynell.

Thanks, fuhred! I have added the name.
I have also updated the cast of the Vakula recording.
