anyone have a clue where a public-domain image of the composer might be found, if anywhere  (from which a "face shot" could be cropped and used as the group's "avatar icon"?) Thanks.

hrm. an images.google.com search seems to reveal several images (I don't know for sure that the ones I think are of Rufinatscha actually are- another aspect of cluelessness? yes. sigh. Eric, better to be thought a fool... ), but yes, I was thinking they were probably all copyrighted. I'll email them soon. Thanks!
