In an increasingly desperate attempt to clarify in my own mind the situation regarding this fine Dutch composer's immense worklist-

Symphony No.1/Symphony for 16 solo instruments(1932): 20 minutes
Symphony No.2(1932): 20 minutes (24 minutes on the Etcetera recording by Henrik Schaefer, 18 minutes on the CPO recording by David Porcelijn)
Symphony No.3(1934): 30 minutes (26 minutes on the CPO recording by David Porcelijn and 27 minutes on the Henrik Schaefer performance )
Symphony No.4(1943): 32 minutes (incomplete performance recently uploaded here)
Symphony No.5(1949): 30 minutes (25 minutes in the Mongrelia performance on this site)
Symphony No.6 'Psalmensymphonie"(1953): 32 minutes
Symphony No. 7 "Louisville Symphony"(1954): 25 minutes (22 minutes on the CPO recording by David Porcelijn)
