I recently listened to the excellent String Concertino by Bruce Montgomery, does anybody know about other recorded works by this composer (and book writer) ?

Well it shouldn't at least be too difficult to find the music he wrote for the (infamous) series of British comedy films in the "Carry On...." series

The pickings are pretty slim - most of his compositions, I think, are light music, and a few can be found on these compilations:

actually I just realized I alredy have the British Film Composers CD but the Scottish pieces are not very good, I ordered the other CD but I don't expect too much from it : too bad Montgomery didn't write more concert music, the rather Waltonian Concerto for Strings proves he had the skills to write a powerful Symphony.
