Please could I emphasise that all links to downloads should be posted in the Downloads section? If links are re-posted in response to requests/observations in the Downloads Discussion section, they should still be posted in the Downloads section ONLY. References to new links there can, of course be made in the Discussion section.

And I assume Alan's reasoning for this is that the DL section needs registering to access, where as anyone can access this section.
