...and it is a superlative release. Wonderful mid-romantic overtures brilliantly played and beautifully recorded. We are very fortunate that Antoni Wit and his Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra are on Naxos - they could easily be on, say, Chandos at full price! Anyway, if you fancy a CD of joyous music that will lift your sprits, buy this!

Thanks for the tip, Alan. For me there is some duplication with my old Koch Schwann LP (Bader and the Kracow Philharmonic), but that's a bit long in the tooth now. Downloading as I type...
