I came across this on Amazon (USA) tonight, a cd from Musiques Suisses to be released in a few days (although apparently available now at jpc) - I believe that the soloist here (Rebekka Hartmann) is the same soloist from a recent Swiss radio broadcast that was mentioned here just a few days ago, playing this particular piece.  Anyway, I'm unfamiliar with these works and would like to hear the collective wisdom of the group.  I know that a few recent recordings of Juon's music have elicited somewhat disappointed reactions lately, but are any members familiar with these works, can any light be shed, is this a recording to anticipate with any eagerness?  Or perhaps someone has acquired the recording and can deliver a brief review?

The two early symphonies weren't great; Juon's best music comes later in his career.
