I tried to download the organ symphony but the file seems to be corrupt. It claims to be .m4a, but doesn't play. Anyone else have problems?
Sadly, yes !

What a brilliant idea - thanks so much for the 'heads up' !

Wow, what a tremendous find ! First piece I listened to was  a guitar concerto by Cuban Joaquin Clerch (MP3 archive July 11th - 1st half hour). Worth discovering the programme just for that;really beautiful, what I'd ignorantly call 'neo-Romantic' piece from 2004/5(?).
Can heartily recommend to others on UC !      And many thanks to 'Woofer'.

Mr. Atushi - whatever they are, the Toldra, and your other recent Spanish uploads, are quite terrific....as of course are so many of the others that you and fellow members have kindly uploaded for our pleasure/education.
Many thanks indeed.

Hi - don't know if I'm speaking out of turn here...I usually do...but in the absence of other replies I think what you're trying to do is terrific, and should be much appreciated by all of us who can't/won't settle down to track all the lovely unsung music which is, in fact, getting an airing.
I know much is recorded, and kindly uploaded, by members, but having a sort of 'Radio Times' of upcoming works would be quite fantastic. Do hope you feel able to continue.
Thank you.

Jowcol - thanks so much for the wonderful organ concerti; truly uplifting music for a pretty soggy May.
Huge appreciation to you, and to all who upload for us here.

Elroel - like you, I have no musical training & no expertise whatsoever. My preferred music is(still) Romantic (& Post-....!) and I delight in broadening my education, so this site has been phenomenal for me.
When some of the uploads here, and when I followed up the composers on You Tube, started venturing into the 'modern' era, I was a bit uneasy with the music (always will be with some of the more extreme) but your uploads and those of other marvellous contributors are helping me to appreciate that a dinosaur Romantic lover can find much to enjoy in later music.
Please don't stop pushing the boundaries as much as the members will allow - much of the joy of music lies in embracing new discoveries and possibilities, and all of you who upload for us are mightily to be thanked for giving us so much to experiment with.

Aha - mine seems to be back ! Problem(for now) solved...obviously localised; could that be GB, or part of ?
Oh well, hope it no longer matters.....there's a day's music to catch up on !

Ah, just missed your post as I was preparing a similar one ! Yes, same experience today; never had problems before, it's been terrific, so assumed it was probably just me !

As good a place as any to express to 'Elroel' my thanks for the phenomenal work he is uploading for us recently, joining the wonderful music presented by so many other members.
Much of this Eastern European magic is dragging me well past my previous 'comfort zone' of (at the latest !) 1950, and particularly some of the cantatas are destined for much playing over the years.
Thanks so much to you - and to all on the site for all I've 'learned' in a short time with you.

For anyone enjoying, as I am, the Hanus uploads (for which, as for all the other lovely music, much thanks !), found on You Tube today his terrific organ & harp concerto. Probably a commercial recording, so not about to appear here, but certainly extends my appreciation of the composer.

Jacky - so sorry; tried 4 times now to download your lovely choral music, but each time, on attempting to extract the files, am told that it can't proceed.
Would assume, as usual, that it's my fault, but not experiencing it with any other rar files, so thought I'd ask if anyone else has had problems.
Many thanks.

Huge Thanks to Maris for uploading another piece by Joep Franssens-"Grace" :)

If ever proof were needed that it is still possible to hear the most gorgeous and heart-warmingly beautiful music composed by a contemporary composer then this is it :) :)
Do agree about Franssens - I'm fairly conservative, but quite prepared to have a go at more contemporary music, if the composer will make any concession to those of us who love a bit of beauty in our listening.
Franssens certainly qualifies - can anyone tell me if there are others I should be trying whose uploading I might otherwise ignore ?

Many thanks !

Jacky - the most delightful music you're introducing us to here ! I certainly look forward to your next posts, and only rarely find something I can't truly appreciate. Many thanks indeed !
