You've already bought it and listened to it?

I'll buy it and put it into my bluray player, just listening to it with headphones on, no need to have a look at the staging. Just listen.

There's a 1998 recording on cd of Mengelberg's opus. Jaap van Zweden conducting the Orkest van het Oosten on the TNS records label (unknown to me): TNSO 198, coupled with Mussorgsky's Pictures orchestrated by Ravel. https://www.muziekweb.nl/Link/AFX4266/Etsen-van-Rembrandt

The short playing time is indeed rather  :(
The works were recorded June, 26-28, 2018 so this can't be covid related.

I've it on Mp3 so will replace it for a Cd when available. I happen to own the recording of the Suite op.29a on an Olympia Cd (OCD 693) which clocks for 34:50 so half the music of the ballet I think.

cpo starts a new series (again) https://www.jpc.de/jpcng/cpo/detail/-/art/andreas-romberg-symphonien/hnum/3493441
The Phion orchestra is a merger of the Gelders Orkest (a.k.a. Arnhem Philharmonic) and the Orkest van het Oosten (a.k.a. het Overijssels Philharmonisch orkest, later the orchestra of Reisopera, later Netherlands Symphony Orchestra). Phion seems to be a fantasy name, and can also be interpreted as 'Phiharmonie oost nederland).

The transmission of Symphony nr.4 on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_fjFPhrKjw is from the Alte Oper, Frankfurt, not from the hr-sendessaal.

Which ageing Supraphon recording of the South Bohemina suite do you refer to? The one under Jaroslav Vogel or the one under Frantisek Vajnar?

Thanks, MartinH for your generous review. I didn't have high hopes for this set. The Chandos/Jarvi and the Naxos series will do fine for me. DGG's website on this set speaks of 'The audio album will be released on 11 September along with a visual album of Symphony No. 4 & the Intermezzo'. Does that mean a DVD is included?  https://www.deutschegrammophon.com/en/artists/diverse-kuenstler/news/paavo-jaervi-rediscovers-franz-schmidt-the-complete-symphonies-259956

The Berliner Philharmoniker will release a recording and video from the perfomance of Schmidt's 4th BTW.
