Joachim Raff - Symphonies 3 and 10

I have uploaded recordings of two recent broadcasts of Symphonies 3 and 10 by Joachim Raff.
Perhaps Mark has better recordings?

Many thanks. I didn't know of Järvi's performance, so no better recording from me. A couple of years ago, he was supposed to be continuing his recordings of the Raff symphonies for Chandos with the 10th and 11th, but I had understood that the project fell through, although he had conducted the 11th in concert (download of recording here). Maybe this performance of the 10th signals the prospect of more Chandos recordings after all?

Jaarvi is nearly 90 now so I think it unlikely he will complete a Raff symphony cycle on Chandos (or any other label). I do wish, however, that he would commit his interpretation of No. 3 to disk before he transfers to the great podium in the skies!

Yes, I do agree that it's unlikely, but at least we have his interpretations of two more of the symphonies, even if not Im Walde. That said, I wasn't over-impressed with his Der Winter.
